ORLANDO, Florida. – Orlando Health is helping people in war-torn Ukraine by donating medical supplies.
The supplies worth nearly $80,000 will meet the many medical needs facing the country during the war.

The hospital said it shipped 20 pallets of supplies to a North Carolina-based charity on Tuesday. From there, the supplies were flown to Ukraine for use in hospitals and triage clinics.

The donations — funded by my employees at Orlando Health — include medicine, blankets, burn supplies and other surgical items.
“As medical professionals, we understand the enormous medical needs that result from any type of war. We know this massive donation of medical supplies will be used to care for individuals and families whose lives have been devastated by the ongoing conflict,” said Timothy Bullard, a retired doctor who led the effort. .
